The Fall Scholarship Program

Deadline for the 2024-24 season WAS Sept 16, 2024

The Sugarloaf Ski Club (SSC) accepts financial assistance applications from young snowboarders and skiers. Funds are limited and preference is given to athletes from Franklin & Somerset Counties. The Fall Scholarship Program is funded by the Town of Carrabassett Fund & The Dick & Martha Ayotte Fund  Before applying please read the fund descriptions for eligibility requirements   here

The Sugarloaf Ski Club hopes to foster both recreational and competitive snow sport activities. While some children will take part in competitions, these funds are meant to encourage children to develop a healthy outdoor interest in a lifelong sport which plays a significant role in both work and play in our region.

The scholarship grants are partial, and are intended to help those children who would not be able to participate in a program without financial assistance.

Eligible programs include:

  • Perfect Turn Minicuffer, Bubblecuffer, Hayburner  programs

  • RSU#58 and Stratton Punch Pass Lessons
