KING'S KIDS

Our Sugarloaf Ski Club believes that all kids in Franklin and Somerset Counties deserve an opportunity to participate in skiing and riding winter programs.

Since 1950, the Sugarloaf Ski Club has supported kids who enjoy programs such as the local schools’ ski-skate days as well as winter-long weekend training programs at Sugarloaf. Now the goal is to enable even more kids throughout Franklin and Somerset counties through our new fund called- “King’s Kids” -

King & Jean Cummings strongly believed that everyone should have a chance to be a part of the sport that their family loved. A lead gift of $500,000 from the King and Jean Cummings Trust provides support for King’s Kids this season. The Sugarloaf Ski Club pledges to help raise another $500,000 to strengthen and give stability to this fund. This money will be held in an endowment fund named for

“King’s Kids” have the opportunity to participate in ski and ride programs by applying to the Sugarloaf Ski Club for financial aid after enrolling in an alpine, nordic or snowboarding program at Sugarloaf or their home areas in Franklin or Somerset counties. Application information is available at www.sugarloafskiclub.org.

Pledged gifts can be spread out over three years.

Our goal is to have all pledges be paid in full by December 31, 2021 Gifts are tax deductible.

Gifts can be made by cash, credit card, check, or stock/publicly traded securities.
