March 1, 2020

To Our Sugarloafer Friends:

The Sugarloaf Ski Club (SSC) has an exciting opportunity for you to help support and celebrate our 70th Birthday! at this year’s Annual Snowball on Saturday, March 21, 2020, in the King Pine Room, from 6-10pm.

This year’s Celebration represents an important milestone for the Club—70 years of supporting our local youth, regional communities and schools—70 years of raising monies to help families get on the snow, skiing and riding!  Your financial support, time, and commitment to the Club over the years has allowed us to succeed with our Mission.

Please join us on March 21, to celebrate the Sugarloaf Ski Club’s 70th Birthday!  This year’s entertainment is provided by Portland’s well-known Keys to the City-Dueling Pianos. Link to web: https://www.jimciampi.com/keys-to-the-city.  The cost of this great event is $60 per person, including dinner/dancing/dessert/silent auction and much more! Register Today to reserve a seat/table: www.sugarloafskiclub.org/.

Please share information about this event with your family and friends.  If you or someone you know has a silent auction item to donate to our 70th Birthday Celebration, we are grateful!  Items can be dropped off to SSC board member Venise Fournier, at the CVA Academic Center Campus, 5015 Access Road/Begin Way, across from The Rack or we are happy to arrange pick-up. Please contact us at: info@sugarloafskiclub.com for more information.

It is likely that you or someone you know has been the recipient of these scholarship funds. The Club supports all local youth in their desires to ski and snowboard. We invite you to learn more about our scholarship programs  by going to https://www.sugarloafskiclub.org/scholarship-programs-1 .  Our newest fund—King’s Kids— welcomed 84 new kids to the ski and snowboard programs this year! The Ski Club supports young skiers and snowboarders from the “learn to” level to the Olympic competitive level.
