Homecoming Weekend

On Saturday afternoon, we hold a social event for club members at the Outdoor Center. Following that, we offer a themed supper, open to the public, such as a Pig Roast, Oktoberfest, or Bean-Hole Supper. And look for our booth in the Base Lodge lobby.

Annual Meeting

During Homecoming in October, our Annual Meeting is held on a Saturday evening. It is a time to elect our officers and Board of Directors, and celebrate the club’s successes. A ‘social’ follows the meeting.

Beer Tasting

A premier event, the Beer Tasting raises funds for the SSC Scholarship Fund. Four Maine brewers, Rising Tide, Baxter Brewing,Bigelow Brewing and Tumbledown provide samples of their beers, and volunteers prepare assorted foods. Ricker's Hard cider and O'Oysters will also join us. All proceeds support our scholarship programs. Event will be held on Feb 2 , 2019 from 5-7 at The Alfond Competition Center.

SnowBall

For over 20 years, the club has held an annual dinner dance featuring music by a Maine band. The event not only gives us a chance to dress up, eat well and have fun, but it also supports our SSC Scholarship Fund. This year's event is March 23rd featuring Elmore Twist, a local rock and roll band

Springtime BBQs

Look for the grills, and club members cooking burgers and dogs, in front of the Jean Luce Building during late-season competitions. Buy lunch and support various club causes, such as the Scholarship Fund and the Clem Begin Matching Fund.
