2010-2011 Winter Sports Funds Available

The Sugarloaf Ski Club and the Sugarloaf Regional Ski Educational Foundation (SRSEF) will be accepting financial assistance applications from young snowbboarders and skiers for their upcoming winter programs.

These funding organizations hope to foster both recreational and competitive snow sport activities.  While some children will take part in competitions, these funds are meant to encourage children to develop a healthy outdoor interest in a lifelong sport which plays a significant role in both work and play in our region.

Eligible programs
include the Minicuffer and Bubblecuffer programs, SAD #58 Punch Pass Lessons,  the Sugarloaf/Carrabassett Valley Academy (SCVA) Program, and CVA.

The scholarship grants are partial, and are intended to help those children who would not be able to participate in a program without financial assistance.

The Sugarloaf Ski Club Scholarship Fund administers funds from the following sources to aid children who participate in weekend programs at Sugarloaf:

   - Sugarloaf Ski Club Fund

   - Town of Carrabassett Valley Fund: for SAD # 58 students only
